tr_🇺🇦 Pleasant melodic and heavy funeral doom. Obviously talented. A few but very well done tranquill accoustic bits. I would listen to a whole album of their accoustic stuff - that's how good they are.

texasshole A blizzard outside my window. Whiskey in my glass and weed in my pipe. The perfect soundtrack. In a genre of orthodoxy, Arche breathe new life while remaining true. One of the best debuts in a long while. Favorite track: Funereal Folds.

Marius Otting I must say I am happy I found this. This is one beautiful mix between clean and distortion guitars, also dark heavy riffs and some pretty cool melodies. This is great Doom Metal for sure!

inner shadows coiling in funereal folds archaic fragments in stagnant pools of woe the snow falls heavy and slow fathoming the depths unknown another eclipse has passed my shadow on her earth

about

--------------------------

"The emotive force and wave of doom that comes from this EP was something brilliant and bodes very well for the group's future. If Arche can maintain this level consistency with their future projects, then it is possible that Scandinavia's Funeral Doom may have their next great band."
- metalinjection.net

"With very few bands worldwide, able to push the boundaries of this extreme music art over the limits of what has already been played and recorded, ARCHE enter the highest ranks of the genre with its mesmerising record."
- absit-omen.com

"This is how you do funeral doom. Big, well orchestrated, lots of melodies, and maintaining a level of excitement across its lengthy tracks."
- invisibleoranges.com

"Quite simply this is a beautiful, staggering piece of work."
"Arche hit near alchemy and this morose, gorgeous, lonely behemoth deserves serious attention this time around."
- ghostcultmag.com

"Their sound—a funeral-doom standard with a focus on melody that retains a sense of rawness, much like their Finnish contemporaries—is impressive both in scope and quality"
- heathenharvest.org

"As a pair, these two tracks are incredibly atmospheric, and have an almost tangible weight to them, with their slowness suggesting a sense of eternity in line with their “Funeral Doom” labelling."
- metal-temple.com

"Atmospherically crushing, like falling down a blackened pit with no chance of escape, except to listen to the hypnotic melodies of deathly passages and hymns of suffocating madness."
- doom-metal.com
